Scott Walker has made smack-talking "out-of-state union bosses" his trademark when traveling around the country to raise money for his recall election and/or criminal defense fund. Unfortunately, the Journal Sentinel created an interactive campaign donation generator that catches Walker in his lies with handy little charts and graphs.
Below is a chart which shows the ratio of in-state and out-of-state contributions for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin and for Walker's campaign machine:
Hmmmm. Inconvenient for Walker.
The next chart shows the in-state and out-of-state chart for the United Wisconsin coalition groups and the Walker campaign machine:
Well, that one is actually worse for Walker. The Siren just isn't seeing that flood of out-of-state money....except that HALF of Walker's money seems to be coming from outside Wisconsin.
Let's take a look at those big money totals, shall we?
Wow. Poor Scott Walker. He's got twelve times the money than those "union bosses" and half of his money is coming from a handful of "corporate bosses" from Texas, Minnesota, California and New York. Check it out - this is going to prove to be very awkward for Walker in the next few months.
