GAB Issues Voter Rights Guide In Wake Of Racine Fiasco

Well, better late than never, we guess.

The Wisconsin Government Accountability Office has issued a two page Voter Rights & Responsibility guide.

The guide details the rights, responsibilities and repercussions for voters - information readily available -but more interesting the second page covers election observers.

Gee, do you think they had any particular city in mind?

The GAB is saying that any election observer who disobeys the order of an election official, issues frivolous challenges or disturbs the polling place will be removed and not allowed to enter other polling locations that day and could be subject to a $1000 fine, up to 6 months in jail or both.

The GAB says that any election observer who is asked to leave and refuses or causes a disruption - the Chief Inspector will contact law enforcement.

Willard Helander would have been in handcuffs by 8:30 am on June 5th.
