It's not safe to answer the phone, get the mail or watch TV without being assaulted by political attack ads.
You'll be thrilled to know that a California based pro-life group will be flying abortion banners over Racine beginning this weekend.
The Journal Time declined to print an example of the banner the Center for Bioethical Reform likes to fly and force people to see. Why? Because they are upsetting and in bad taste. Which are only two of the reasons the Siren included what you may witness in the skies above the Belle City.
In their press release CBR stated:
"Our goal is to make certain that abortion does not become the forgotten issue in an election campaign dominated by economic concerns. We intend to force a debate and ensure that that debate is well informed."Don't you feel well-informed now having seen their handy work? Weren't you wondering why no one has discussed abortion as an issue this election season?
So for those of you - pro-choice or pro-life - who actually prefer to discuss these issues with your children at an appropriate time, you now get to explain why that plane is flying a picture of bloody baby hands as you go into the Piggly Wiggly or during the soccer match at Pritchard Park.
On the upside, daylight savings starts on Sunday.
